The stitching around the enlarged pocket feels rock-solid, and it swallows my ASIP with room to spare. I swapped it in during a lunch break, and my loadout finally sits flat against my back instead of bulging awkwardly.

Finally, my PRC-117 fits snug without the awkward bulge it used to have shoved in the old small pocket. The enlarged carrier drops right into the existing ALICE pack with zero fuss, and the closing flap still seals tight over the bigger radio. Worth every penny for anyone running manpack gear.
