Answers to common questions about the Large Tactical Planner Book Cover: what fits, how it protects, and what to expect from its Cordura build.
Quick answer
The Large Tactical Planner Book Cover fits 8.5" x 11" paper and provides heavy-duty protection via 500D Cordura and YKK zippers.
Material and build trade-offs
500D Cordura is tough and water-resistant, but adds weight compared to nylon or fabric covers. The trade-off is long-term durability in field or travel use.
YKK zippers are reliable but can feel stiff initially. They break in with use and resist snagging better than standard zippers.
Frequently asked questions
- What planner sizes fit the Large Tactical Planner Book Cover?
- It fits standard 8.5" x 11" sheets. 3-ring binders up to 1 inch thick work. Smaller inserts will shift unless secured with a band or clip.
- How does the cover protect the planner?
- 500D Cordura resists tears, abrasion, and light moisture. YKK zippers keep contents secure. Internal card slots and tool pockets prevent loose items from damaging pages.
- Can I carry pens or a phone in the cover?
- Yes. The cover includes dedicated pen slots and card pockets. A standard smartphone (up to 3 inches wide) fits in the main sleeve, but a thick case may not. Test your phone and pen thickness before loading the cover fully.
- Is the cover waterproof?
- No. The Cordura fabric is water-resistant, not waterproof. It handles light rain and splashes but will soak through in heavy or prolonged wet conditions. Use a separate dry bag or zip-lock for the planner in sustained rain.
- Does the cover work with a standard ring binder or discbound system?
- The three-ring binder mechanism is built in. Discbound notebooks require an adapter or separate disc rings that fit the 3-ring posts. The cover is not designed for discbound refills out of the box.
