The quick-release straps are perfect for when I need my shovel free in a hurry, and the whole mount feels rock solid once it's on. I've had it on my ALICE pack for two weeks now, and it hasn't shifted a millimeter, even on a rough hike.

Bolted it onto my MALICE pack in under five minutes, and the shovel sits rock-solid against the frame even on a full ruck run. Being able to grab the e-tool without unbuckling anything is a game-changer when you're tired and just want to dig in.

The quick-release straps are perfect for when I need the shovel out fast, and it locks tight enough that nothing rattles on the trail. It sits flush against my pack so I barely notice it's there, even on steep scrambles. Exactly what I wanted for keeping the mud off my main gear.
